REFLECT
Go to Joseph. Pope Leo XII writes, “It is, then, natural and worthy that as the blessed Joseph ministered to all the needs of the family at Nazareth and girt it about with his protection, he should now cover with the cloak of his heavenly patronage and defend the Church of Jesus Christ.” Why is St. Joseph such a powerful intercessor? Because the more one approaches the source of grace, the more deeply one can drink from that font. Joseph lived with Jesus and the Virgin Mary, meaning he had access to an ocean of grace! Ultimately, we should not shy away from asking Joseph for the most tremendous favor: the grace of our own conversion of heart.
